Christmas in the Park
This winter wonderland, displayed in the heart of West Jefferson, aims to bring holiday cheer to the community. Please join us in celebrating the most wonderful time of the year. Lights will be on for the 29th annual Christmas in the Park from November 28, 2024 - January 1, 2025 at Garrette Park. Hours of operation will be nightly with lights on at dark until 10 p.m. Our Christmas in the Park Festivities will be held on December 13 and 14. All events are free. Donations are welcomed!
Donations
We are currently looking for interested individuals and/or businesses to help support our mission. We are a not-for-profit organization that incurs many expenses each year to put this event on. Christmas in the Park is organized as an extension of a not-for-profit corporation known as the West Jefferson Community Association. It is comprised of volunteer citizens who donate their time and energy to make the exhibit a reality year after year.
Volunteers are needed starting Nov 20 through the final hours before the lighting on November 23. Volunteers are also needed in January to take all displays and lights down and put them away for storage for next year.
